I strictly use my PS3 for blue ray. It was cheaper at time when I bought it than a regular BRP. I did not care for gaming setup on it for some reason. I guess, I am just partial to 360.

We'll be picking up 2 sets of controllers to start. I've had the camera for a while.

We've been dealing with kmart on most of our game purchases. They have some really GOOD deals. Picked up Mafia II today and got 2 $20 off coupons one I used on another game then kept the other one for next time.

Been very busy lately..check the level up thread for funny stories.

Tomorow is the big day! I work til 16:30 and I'm going to gamestop get my Move with a game to try it one.

One thing nice, with the update of the Playstation Network, Sony have put like 10 demos for games using the Move. So you can try the Move with more than the Sports Champions.

I'm gonna give some feedback sunday!

Cya all

Just picked up 2 move controls haven't even tried the Sports Champion game yet played a demo for the game called Tumble...
I'm impressed...Move adds depth to the simple side to side and up and down controls.

If they can make a game in 3D that uses these controls to their full potential It would be pretty intense.

I'm happy to heard that. I have MAG at home ( FPS with 256 players at the same time on the same map ) and they are making an update to be able to use the Move with it. I can't wait to try it because snipping with a joystick is realy hard for me.

And I just download some demo to from the PSN , 2 hours before work finish and I'm flying to EB GAMES ( gamestop in canada )

Tumble is one I think I'll buy it's got some cool mini games.

Sports Champions is what came with the bundle I got, but haven't tried it yet. We have Heavy Rain and it's suppose to be ready for the MOVE too.
We have MAG here should be really interesting how they make the move work with the shooters...I want accessories shaped like guns that shoot where I aim...I've been hung up on that since duck hunt.

Hi everyone, so yesterday , I had the chance to play sport champion for like 2 hours and I'm realy impressed of the Move.

First of all, the Move himself is a lot easier to hold in the hand than the wii remote. The square shape of the wii mote can't be compare to the one of the move. All the button are easy access ( except start and select ).

I tried all the game of the S-C.

First one : ping pong : I'm not a real player of ping-pong and the first game one the championship I tried , I lost it 7-2. I was to much in the mood of the wii sport tenis, where you just need to make a movement a the good time. Now you need to place the Move a the good place, with the good angle, and if you want to do some effect one the ball, like backspin, it's like real ping pong. After some match , the fun beging.

I spoke to one of my friend yesterday, who's rep for SONY for video game in the province of QUEBEC (CANADA), and he told me that at Sport champion, when you start to play the championship at the bronze dificullty, you have some help from the PS3. There's like a IA that help you to play better but when you play at the GOLD difficulty, there's no more IA, so you need to be more accurate in you movement. That's why when some people try the move the first time, they don't seem to see the difference between the Move and the Wii, but more you play, more realistic it become and the more accurate you need to be.

Second one i tried: Archery : I didn't play very long at this game, because repeting the same movement, grab in the back, pull in the front, my arm was hurting after 15 min. But it's fun, I tried it with 1 remote. Realy accurate.

third one : Boscc. ( not sure of the name ) : I love this game, what good thing with it it's the stage. Like you can play in a park and trow the small ball anywhere ( like on a BBQ or a Carbage ). You can add some effect to the ball the same way has if you played in real life.

i don't have more time for the moment. It's the end of my 15 min break at the job, I will come back later leave the rest of my comments.

bye

Joé

Got 4 move controllers now.
Sports Champions that came with one of them as well as the camera is pretty cool. Disc Golf, Volleyball, Bocce Ball, Gladiator (Sword fighting), Table Tennis, and Archery. All are pretty fun Archery is my favorite.

Also Purchased a game called Tumble...it's a stacking game that throws all sorts of levels the last one I played had earthquakes on it...but there are levels where you can place mines and try to shape the explosion to create the biggest scatter of blocks.

Eye Pet wasn't too impressive geared toward a younger crowd.
The Fight looks awesome black and white with colors put in for lights and blood but it looks like a real fighting game.
I can't wait till some of the shooters incorporate the MOVE into their games should make for some interesting game play.

Sports Champions had them lining up at the last all nighter.
We did a Gladiator Duel Tournament and some single games of Bocce for free day passes.

Everyone was impressed with how accurate and smooth the MOVE is compared to the child friendly wii.
Also in the coming weeks we'll be getting some accessories for these controllers as well.

Yeah people are saying that the accuracy of the move is causing games to be too hard... I think they are just reps from Wii spewing BS!

From what time I've spent with it the accuracy is perfect. Games like table tennis have to be play as if they were actually playing the real game.
To me the Wii has always been just getting close. For the MOVE you have to be spot on.

The shooters that I've Demo'ed so far have the arcade feel like the big screen quarter machines.

In other news:
I picked up a scrolling LED sign for inside the store for $150 lists on Amazon for almost $300. I've got it scrolling all of our special events, New games, and Showcases.

So what all exactly do you need for a full set of move controllers and be able to play any move enabled games?

1 PS3 Eye Camera
2 PS3 Motion controller (4 if you want to do the multiplayer at full strength on some games)
You can use 1 motion controller but all of the games feel better with 2.

We bought 1 bundle with the game and camera for $99.
3 - MOVE controls at $40 each.
2- navi controls so when we do get the shooters and such that use them we'll be ready ($30 each).

The navi controls that are sort of like the wii chuck aren't really used for anything except XMB controls. We use them or the regular dual shocks.
I had 1 camera already that we got a while back for some of the PSN games so we can run two separate games on two TV's.

People lined up to play at the all nighter even with REACH and Civ V the move was by far the most popular thing played with.
